White or red? A guide to choosing your first HoméoJuices

Lively bubbles and citrus notes on one hand, sumptuous red berries on the other: our two sparkling wines each have their own character. A comparison of their profiles, occasions, food pairings and bottle sizes — the honest guide to getting your first order just right (or accepting that you can’t decide).

Ever since we launched our online shop, one question has come up more than any other: ‘Which one should I order?’. Two vintages, two distinct characters — and a first purchase you’ll want to get right. Here’s what you need to make an informed choice. We promise, this isn’t an advert: it’s an honest portrait of our two wines, each with their own unique character.

Two cuvées, one common backbone

Before we compare them, let’s talk about what they have in common. Both the Sparkling White and Sparkling Red are 100% grape juice, with no added sugar or sulphites, 0% alcohol, and come in 33 cl bottles. The grapes grow on our limestone slopes inGenté in the Grande Champagne region, in a vineyard managed without any synthetic chemical inputs. They are harvested at aromatic ripeness, gently pressed, and best served well chilled, between 6 and 8 °C. Whatever you choose, the basics are the same: grapes, bubbles, and nothing else.

The Sparkling White — lively, floral, refreshing

Bouteille HoméoJuices Blanc Effervescent — jus de raisin pétillant de Grande Champagne
The Blanc — lively, floral, refreshing.

The Blanc is the result of a blend that few producers can still create: Colombard, Montils, Sémillon, Fille Blanche and Ugni Blanc — grape varieties native to the Charente region, some of which have almost disappeared from wine labels.

  • In the glass: a bright pale yellow colour, with fine, persistent bubbles.
  • On the nose: white flowers, fresh grapes, citrus; notes of apple, pear and a hint of exotic fruit.
  • On the palate: a lively, refreshing attack, with a clean, fruity finish and a hint of tartness.

This is the perfect drink for the start of the evening: an aperitif in the sunshine, with seafood, fresh cheeses or melon. If you like dry, crisp whites, ice-cold sparkling wines and drinks that really wake you up — this is the one.

The Sparkling Red — rich, fruity, full-bodied

Bouteille HoméoJuices Rouge Effervescent — jus de raisin pétillant aux fruits rouges
The Red — rich, fruity, generous.

The Red is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, harvested from the same limestone-rich slopes.

  • In the glass: a brilliant ruby colour, enlivened by fine effervescence.
  • On the nose: fresh red fruits — raspberry, strawberry, cherry —, a touch of blackcurrant, a hint of pastry.
  • On the palate: a supple, fruity attack, underpinned by lovely freshness.

It’s the perfect accompaniment to indulgent moments: a snack that goes on forever, a red-fruit dessert, an alcohol-free spritz in the evening (we’ve shared our serving suggestions here). If you love red berries, gentle bubbles, and drinks that bring a smile to the faces of children and adults alike — this is the one.

The perfect match, whatever the occasion

The real answer: try both

Les deux cuvées HoméoJuices Blanc et Rouge servies côte à côte — le duo découverte
The Discovery Duo: 6 Whites, 6 Reds – no need to choose.

Let’s be honest: most of our first-time customers can’t make up their minds — and they’re right. The Discovery Duo brings together 6 whites and 6 reds – that’s 12 bottles for €36.48 instead of €46.80. It’s the easiest way to pick a side… or to admit you don’t have one.

If you’d rather start on a smaller scale: each wine is available individually (€3.90) or in packs of 6 (€20). Secure card payment, delivery to a Mondial Relay collection point or to your door, with delivery charges shown before you confirm your order.
