Understanding our approach:
from homeopathy to Holohoméopathie.

When cultivating our vines, we work with the plant rather than forcing it. Our method is based on two complementary pillars.

First reading

An approach based on two complementary pillars.

We start with the plant itself, then move on to everything around it: the soil, the water, the climate. Two scales, one approach — guiding rather than imposing.

Pillar 01

Plant-based homeopathy: strengthening the plant’s defences

The law of similars. In minute doses, natural substances help the vine to mobilise its own defences against disease and water stress.

Dilution and potentisation. The substance is diluted in water and then potentised by shaking. No chemical residue, no toxicity: simply water that transmits the information to the plant.

Pillar 02

Holohoméopathie: caring for the entire ecosystem

The harmony of the place (the Holon). We look after the entire ecosystem: the soil, the water, and the surrounding flora and fauna.

Natural rhythms. We follow the cycles of the seasons and the moon, which govern the rise of sap and the life of the plant.

People at the heart of it all. The winegrower’s day-to-day work and attention to detail are an integral part of the method.

Homeopathy is simple: water, natural substances, and letting nature take its course. We don’t impose anything on the vines; we simply support them.

Pruning: guiding the plant without restricting it

Pruning is a choice that affects sap flow, future yield and the vine’s structure. We aim for balance: enough potential, but never too much. A well-managed vine becomes more consistent and long-lived.

  • Sap flow: maintaining tissue continuity.
  • Controlled workload: prioritise quality over quantity.
  • Vine health: taking a long-term view of the vineyard.
02
Spring · Momentum

Growth: fostering the vitality of the season

In spring, we observe the dynamics of the site: sap flow, the vigour of the young shoots, foliage balance and soil activity. The aim is not to hasten the vine’s growth, but to strengthen its ability to regenerate itself.

  • Living soil: microbial activity and water availability.
  • Crown: a balance between vigour and airflow.
  • Resilience: minimising the need for late corrective action.

Autumn · the harvest

The Grape Harvest: the very essence of the terroir

Our grape harvest is not merely a harvest: it marks the culmination of a life cycle that we have supported without ever imposing our will upon it. With no external inputs, the vines have developed their own resilience; every bunch reflects this harmony. The stress experienced by the plant is reflected in the juice, and the juice in the brandy — so we harvest at just the right moment, with the utmost care.

  • Zero inputs: no synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.
  • Self-cultivation: the vine draws its strength from the terroir.
  • Preserved fractality: fruit that has not been subjected to aggressive treatment reflects the character of our soils.

Wine-making: preserving the authenticity of the grapes

A clear and straightforward winemaking process, without any artificial embellishments. Every decision serves the same purpose: to preserve the character of the fruit and the signature of the vintage. This base wine forms the foundation of the distillation process.

  • Fermentation: carried out with precision and restraint.
  • Sensory evaluation: nose, palate, texture, body.
  • Aim: a straightforward wine, free from any unwanted notes.

Distillation: capturing the essence

Distillation does not create anything: it simply intensifies what is already there. Distilling a wine produced using Holohoméopathie means distilling the purity of the terroir, without any chemical interference. We do not seek to correct the wine, but to enhance the life within it.

  • Respect for the raw material: the still concentrates only the fruit.
  • Pure expression: unique and authentic flavours.
  • Authenticity: enhancement, never a facade.

‘We have not sought to alter nature; we have concentrated it.’

Livestock Farming: a dialogue between living creatures and wood

A spirit produced using Holohoméopathie possesses such intrinsic strength that it needs no embellishment from wood chips or additives: it needs a partner – the oak. Just as we respect the terroir of the vineyard, we respect that of the forest — every grain of wood acts as a lung for our brandy.

  • Limousin (coarse-grained): structure and strength – wood that lets you breathe.
  • Tronçais & Central French forests (fine-grained): finesse, slow oxidation, length.
  • No artifice, 100% patience: ‘Any action that is taken for its own sake withers away.’

‘The wood does not impart its flavour to the Cognac: it allows it to become what it already is.’
